Tasman Hauler Tug - Eden

This is an easy dive 10 min by boat from Eden. Two tugs, the Tasman Hauler and the Henry Bolte were scuttled in the mid 1980's in 25 to 30m as artificial reefs. The Hauler is intact and the Bolte midsections have collapsed.
The two tugs are often done as a double dive returning to Eden for the surface interval. Water clarity is usually very good but was barely 5m with a weird green colour when we visited. Return to Photo albums Return to Andy and Virg UW |
